I may be having arrived...
... at an end to the materialistic striving...
It's a feeling, a sensation, an intuition of observation. I wanted to share a glimpse of this also visually here in a post:
Over the years, these two spyderco para 3 knives (black and digi/camo) (pretty sure these are 3's and not 2's), have proven the most carried EDC knives for me. And they've fit well. I found some slips made for them on etsy, where you choose the leather and the thread, and chose same thread for both leathers, for each knife. So in practical terms, my knives are satisfied. Could maybe even sell the rest. The pens were a gift, which makes them unique and sentimental, and coincidentally, they seem to be the best ballpoint options I have right now, during my current ballpoint 'kick.' So my stationary/tools are satisfied, in my analogy prone mind. I've used utility knives for my work-life for many years, and i think the two utility knives in this picture (green/purple) are something like the 6th and 7th utility knives I've had. Insofar as being descriptive :P.
It's an interesting place for pondering, imo. After materialism, ideally I've had in mind to want to get into fiction/reading and gaming, and as per materialism, I'm retrofitted and backlogged to oblivion on the games setups. And books. Books are books. I'm a slow reader :D.
Ok, so how do you guys like the new blog format? I had been with blogger/blogspot for like omg, 15 years? I don't even know. Anyway, hope it suites some tastes out there.
